Like kudzu<br \/>\nor parachuting dandelion fluff<br \/>\nwe superstitiously disperse\u00a0with\u00a0puffs,<br \/>\npoetry can go wild, turn weed, its niche<br \/>\nbecome the whole global ecology.<br \/>\nO Peoples of the Earth, hear me on this!<br \/>\nPoetry clings to everything. We can\u2019t<br \/>\nhack back its proliferating\u00a0nodes, trap<br \/>\nits encapsulated seeds,\u00a0which survive<br \/>\nthe seasons,\u00a0germinate\u00a0in pavement cracks,<br \/>\non distant rooftop tar.
