The dessicated bristles<\/p>\n<p>of their involuted bracts<br \/>\nleave audible scratches<br \/>\non the silken shroud<br \/>\nof evening\u2019s amber whisper.<\/p>\n<p>***<br \/>\n<em>Even I didn&#8217;t realize what this poem was about until I had to read it over a few times to proof it. In <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/alteritas.net\/pastis\/?page_id=76\">The Skin of Things<\/a><em>.
