I am a fan, some would say an addict, of Social Media. The underlying codes and the virtual reality they project as marvels of human ingenuity. It\u2019s how they are used which is the problem, not what they are.<\/p>\n<p>I have found myself with a proliferation of sign-ons. I have two accounts on Instagram, one dedicated to my personal life, the second to my poetry. It follows that there are two corresponding accounts on that spin-off from<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Insta, Threads.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>This Pessoa-like proliferation of identities began with Twitter (X), with @xerxesxerxes being dedicated to poetry; @geogeoplots, was originally intended to host on political commentary. It<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>has now <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>been placed on hiatus.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Bluesky is a recent account, set up to offer a alternative to X.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Even before X, I was on Tumblr, where I remain, though largely inactive. I did recently delete my Tiktok account, but signed up to XinHongShu \u201cLittle Red Book,\u201d known euphemistically as Red Note. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Carney is an affable enough Canuck with a formidable dossier and a steel-trap mind, still something of a virtue within the Canadiab cultural and therefore political sphere.<\/p>\n<p>Camilla Lackberg\u2019s Fjallbacka Murders<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let me come right out and say it.
