I probably taught it dozens of time but it still brings tears to my eyes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/m.youtube.com\/watch?v=a4jGNoag_1g\">https:\/\/m.youtube.com\/watch?v=a4jGNoag_1g<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m linking this YouTube clip to you\u00a0because of an additional issue, the direct allusion to Rimbaud, both iconograph (look at that last image) and implicitly textual, to say nothing of the notion of fugues (<em>en fran\u00e7ais<\/em>), which my life has consisted of a long sequence of.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Elle est retrouv\u00e9e.<\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Quoi\u00a0? \u2013 L\u2019Eternit\u00e9.<br \/>\n<\/span>C\u2019est la mer all\u00e9e<\/em><br \/>\n<em><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Avec le soleil.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">*<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Forgot to mention that the cinematographic technique Truffaut was playing with is called, in French, un\u00a0<em>travelling<\/em>. Moving cam.<\/p>\n<p>He even does a <em>travelling interruptus<\/em> at one point, by dropping Antoine and then picking him up at the end of a plan, to be differenciated from a shot, since once he starts jogging there is but a single acknowledged take, though there is nonetheless montage.<\/p>\n<p>Basically, Truffaut was creating the image or illusion of a travelling, a meta-travelling, while depicting a fugue.
